This winter sees us travelling to the football hotbed of Kerala in Southern India. This is a beautiful state full of stunning empty beaches, palm fringed backwaters and cool hill stations. It is also one of the few places in this sports mad country where football is king, big games regulalry attract crowds of 50,000 plus with the same amount outside the stadiums. Our trips are based in the northern part of the state on the Malabar Coast. Kerala is a great location for our team to practice and play, but is also a great place for non players with lots of activities on offer.

The dates for our tours are:

  • November 25th - December 9th
  • December 27th - January 2nd
  • February 3rd - February 17th

There are three options on offer. For those short on holiday time, try the one week trip which gives you and the team 2 matches, one in Wayanad and one in the stadium in Calicut. There is also time for a couple of days on the beach and options to go trekking and exploring.

For those wanting to experience more of what Kerala has to offer and to play and practice with the team more, the two week trip is perfect. There are four matches and seven training sessions so both the team and the individuals will improve no end.

We also have tailor made trips for teams or corporate groups. You will play in local tournaments under the lights, these attract huge crowds in bamboo stadiums and will be an amazing experience for all involved.

Visas: - YOU WILL NEED A VISA TO ENTER INDIA. You can get this either at the Indian Embassy (http://www.hcilondon.org/visa.htm#Visa%20fees) in London yourself, by post or let Trans World Visas (http://www.transworldvisas.com/) sort it all out for you.

Getting there: Flights into Cochin are available with Jet Airways via Mumbai, or Gulf, Qatar, Kuwair Airlines via the Gulf States. Prices start at around £400. For flights to Calicut, Jet Airways fly there via Mumbai or there are domestic flights from other major Indian cities.

Insurance: You will need sports insurance, please inform us of your policy number when booking. We must have your policy number before departure.
