Terms and Conditions

Please read the small print so you know the procedures in case of cancellation, ammendments or other changes to bookings made. If you have any questions, please email or phone us so you are completely satisfied with these terms prior to booking.

The Contract

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you the customer (referred to us "you" or "the client") and Global Wanderers Limited (referred to as "the company" "us" or "Global Wanderers"). You are bound to these terms and conditions when you have made a booking.

Payment

At time of booking, we require a non refundable deposit of £100 per tour. Acceptance of the booking will be made in writing by Global Wanderers.

Final payment of the balance is due no later than 60 days before departure. If the tour is booked within 60 days of departure, full payment is due at time of booking. If balance due is not recieved at this time, Global Wanderers reserves the right to cancel the booking. After full payment is taken, the client will be confirmed on the tour and will be notified in writing by Global Wanderers.

Cancellation

1. By the client:

Any cancellation by the client must be in writing and acknowledged by the company. The date on which the letter is recieved by us will determine the cancellation charge applicable.

For cancellation 90 days or more prior to start of tour - loss of deposit

For cancellation between 45 and 89 days prior to start of tour - loss of 50% of tour price

For cancellation less than 45 days prior to start of tour - loss of 100% of tour price

2. By Global Wanderers

The company reserves the right to cancel any trip but will not do so within 45 days of departure. The company reserves the right to cancel any trip at any time due to external forces and are not liable for incidental expenses that may have resulted in the booking such as non refundable flights, visas etc. In the event of cancellation by the company, the client will be offered a full refund or the chance to book onto an alternative tour. If the tour is more expensive, the client shall pay the increase. If the tour is less expensive, the company will refund the difference.

Ammendment

1. By the client:

Transfer of name - This is possible for no extra charge 45 days or more prior to departure. Within this period there will be a £25 administration charge.

Transfer to another trip or departure date - Subject to avialability, this can be done free of charge 90 days or more prior to departure of tour the client is originally booked on. Less than 90 days prior to departure, the client must cancel the booking and rebook on a new tour.

Any changes to the client's information (passport number, insurance company etc) must be passed on to Global Wanderers.

2. By Global Wanderers

The company reserves the rights to change any of the facilities ,opponents, stadiums used, training facilities described prior to the booking. The client will be told of any changes at this time. Global Wanderers will try to keep to the itinerary as described in each tour, but reserves the right to be flexible and make minor changes. If there is a major change, affecting one day in five of the tour, the client will be made aware prior to departure and the client is given the options of accepting the change, taking a full refund or changing to another tour. If the change is for a force majeure, no compensation is due.

Pricing Policy

Global Wanderers reserves the rights to impose surcharges up to 60 days before departure due to changes in exchange rates or increases in local costs. Should any surcharges result in an increase of more than 10% of tour cost, the client shall be allowed a full refund or transfer to another Global Wanderers tour provided the client ammends within 14 days of notification.

Protection of Clients' Money

Global Wanderers is bound by the UK Package Holidays and Package Tour Regulations 1992 to keep all monies recieved by the client with a third party and bonded until the client has recieved the entire trip paid for.

Preparation for Travel

Please be aware that you will need a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the date you return,. Where a visa is required for entry into a country, it is the client's responsibility to acquire one. Please check the latest foreign and commonwealth office advice at www.fco.gov.uk . For health requirements, see your GP or travel clinic.

Insurance and Liability

At the time of booking, the client is aware of the nature of the tour. The client must have travel insurance which covers them for the activities involved on tour. Failure to provide to Global Wanderers the insurance details before the day of departure will lead to the client being removed from the tour.

The company accepts liability where the client suffers death or personal injury on an activity organised by Global Wanderers as part of the tour. This liability is exempt if the fault is caused by the client, an external party or a circumstance out of the company's control.

The company's acceptance to pay liability is set out in the provisions of the Carriers Liability Limited, the 1961 Berne Convention, the 1974 Athens Convention and the 1962 Paris Convention.

Complaints

The first route of complaint should be the tour leader. If the client wishes to take the matter further or the tour leader can not rectify the matter, we require the complaint in writing within 30 days. The company will not accept liability for any claims recieved after 30 days.

Severabiity

In the event that any of the terms and conditions is unenforceable or void by law, this term alone shall be severed from the terms and conditions in a way that allows all remaining terms and conditions to survive and continue to be binding.

Applicable Law and Choice of Forum

The contract including all matters arising from its subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
